In animating the Network strategies, the BoP Global Network will engage in a range of specific programmatic activities in the coming decade. Specifically, we will:
1) Generate action research focused on BoP business. The BoP Global Network will help to catalyze and initiate specific action research that will allow it to make valuable contributions to the theory and practice of the emerging field of BoP enterprise development and sustainable entrepreneurship.
2) Disseminate knowledge through workshops, seminars, conferences, case studies, publications and multimedia. The BoP Global Network will develop and disseminate original materials and programs that will promote the theory and practice of the emerging field of BoP enterprise development and sustainable entrepreneurship.
3) Incubate innovative business models. The BoP Global Network will aim to initiate and promote innovative new business models with companies, new ventures, and other stakeholders that will improve the social and economic conditions of underserved communities, through the emerging field of BoP enterprise development and sustainable entrepreneurship. Some of these initiatives will be developed at the global level through the ESW Hub. Others will emerge from initiatives, which bring together combinations of collaborating BoP Labs. Still others will emerge from the bottom up from individual Labs.
